Having grown up on a working horse farm in Fluvanna County, Justin and Peter Wiley are lifelong Central Virginia residents. Both graduated from St. Anne’s Belfield School in Charlottesville, and learned the real estate business through their father, Hugh Wiley, principal broker of Hugh Wiley, Ltd.
Hugh Wiley represented the United States Equestrian Team in 1956 and 1960, and the story of Wiley and his horse, Nautical, were the subject of the Disney movie The Horse with the Flying Tail. After the Olympics, the senior Wiley devoted himself to his horse farm and real estate outside Charlottesville.
More than 30 years selling Central Virginia farm, land, and residential properties has given Wiley Real Estate a proven track record of some $300 million in sales—the result of an intimate knowledge of Charlottesville, Albemarle, Orange, Louisa, Fluvanna, Greene, Madison, and Nelson counties.
